Altera sells apartments in Baarn and Rotterdam
Altera Management B.V. (Altera) officially received its B Corp certification during the opening day of PROVADA 2026. This signifies that Altera meets the international standards set out by B Lab™ for social impact, environmental policy, governance and transparency, and can now call itself a Certified B Corporation™.
The certification was awarded following an independent audit by non-profit organisation B Lab, which assesses companies worldwide based on their social and environmental performance, governance and accountability for their business practices. The audit results for Altera were well above the minimum threshold required to become a Certified B Corporation™.
In becoming a B Corp, Altera joins an international community of companies working to create sustainable long-term value, ensuring that financial results are intertwined with social responsibility.

Framework to guide further development
The B Corp certification offers Altera a supplementary framework for systematically assessing and improving its social and ecological performance and providing transparent reporting on these key topics. Certification is in line with Altera’s broader ESG strategy, focusing on sustainability, transparency and long-term value.
In its ESG strategy, Altera’s focal areas include improving sustainability in its real estate portfolio, reducing CO₂ emissions, creating future-proof settings for people to work and live, and strengthening responsible supply chain management and governance.
Certified B Corporations™ are subject to periodic reassessment of their performance and development in terms of social and ecological impact. As a result, certification motivates organisations to keep developing and to take responsibility for their broader role in society.
