HEMA opens new store in Westwijk, Amstelveen
Real estate investor Altera, representing the Altera Residential Fund, has taken delivery from developer Stebru of 71 private rental apartments and 63 parking spaces as part of the De Zaanse Helden project in Zaandam. In various stages, 356 homes and 323 parking spaces, spread across five buildings, were completed and delivered to Altera.
De Zaanse Helden is a large-scale new construction project consisting of ten residential buildings with a total of 607 homes in the private rental sector, social housing rental sector and owner-occupied sector. This project was developed by Stebru and Focus on Impact. By now, all 356 units have been let.
Sustainable and social living in the heart of Zaandam
De Zaanse Helden symbolises sustainable and future-proof living. The project has a very low EPC of 0.2 and includes solar panels and a thermal energy storage system. The roof of the parking garage boasts a communal rooftop garden, designed by LOLA Landscape Architects and Deltavormgroep. This nature-inclusive rooftop garden promotes social interaction between residents and serves to connect De Zaanse Helden with adjacent Molenpark and the neighbouring Burano complex.
