Reduction of CO₂ emissions and energy savings for Altera Retail Fund in 2024

Real estate investor Altera Vastgoed(Altera) together with its local partners and entrepreneurs celebrated the 10th anniversary of Gouweplein shopping centre in Waddinxveen last week. Gouweplein is an easily accessible shopping centre featuring a comprehensive array of stores, including an especially wide variety of food & convenience options.
The anniversary celebrations began with a special lunch on Wednesday 20 November, honouring stakeholders who have played a pivotal role in the shopping centre’s success over the past decade. On Thursday, Altera organised the traditional “Gouwe ouwe lunch” for local senior citizens. The following weekend saw a series of family-oriented events, catering to one of Gouwplein’s primary target groups. Gouweplein has enjoyed significant improvements and progress over the past decade. Offering two hours of free parking, a wide range of shops and attractive architecture, the shopping centre has become a local hotspot.
No fewer than seven new stores opened at Gouweplein in 2024: TUI, Dirk van den Broek, Action, Dabasto, Pacino Barbershop, Kokkeler Bloemen and De Hypotheker. In addition, Oelala Babyspa is set to open its doors on Doorsteek in early 2025. These lettings bring the shopping centre close to full occupancy.
Sweco Property Management has overseen property management since the shopping centre opened in 2014. |
