Ernsting’s family to open new shop in Zwolle-Zuid shopping centre

Real estate investor Altera has announced, on behalf of Altera Retail Fund, that the German retailer Ernsting’s family will be moving to Zwolle-Zuid shopping centre as a new tenant. Ernsting’s family is one of Europe’s leading omni-channel providers, with approximately 2,000 stores in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, more than 12,500 employees and annual sales of approximately 1.6 billion euro. The arrival of this popular format means that the shopping centre will be able to further expand its range of fashion products and strengthen its position as an appealing shopping experience for the whole family.

The Ernsting’s family shop will be located in one of the centre’s prominent units, covering 251m² GFA, and it will offer a wide range of fashion and accessories for the whole family, with a focus on underwear, and women’s and children’s clothing. Being able to provide high-quality products at surprisingly affordable prices is the underlying principle of the company. They strive for the continuous development of new distribution channels and sales locations with a social, societal and ecological sense of responsibility. The official opening is planned for Autumn 2025.
