Baltimore and Boston will be the new icons in Spijkenisse skyline

Real estate investor Altera Vastgoed NV (hereinafter: Altera) has sold the Arendshof II shopping centre in oosterhout. The property comprises approximately 9,125 sq. m comparisson retail space and an indoor parking garage with 562 parking spaces. The shopping centre is currently being leased to H&M, Intertoys, Van Haren Schoenen, D-Reizen, Beter Horen, Hans Anders and various local entrepreneurs.
With this sale, Altera completes the year 2020 in which the retail portfolio is further optimized to the strategic convenience retail portfolio. In addition to the sale of non-strategic assets in, amongst others, the city centers of
Deventer
,
Emmeloord
and
Rotterdam
and the
Rijnplein
shopping centre in Alphen, the ALDI supermarket in
Zwijndrecht
was added to the portfolio. At the end of 2019 the convenience centers Westwijk in
Amstelveen
and Zijdelwaard in
Uithoorn
were acquired.

This sale to the municipality will enable it to take the next step in the implementation of its vision. Approximately 75% of our portfolio now consists of food and convenience real estate and will grow further in 2021 through buying and selling and asset management activities.”
