Altera has acquired the Tafelberg residential complex from Apollo Zorgvastgoedfonds on behalf of Altera Residential Fund. The complex comprises 28 let apartments, 34 parking spaces and a social area of 70 m². The residential complex was constructed in 2021.
The complex has Energy label A+++ and is designed entirely with elderly residents’ requirements and needs in mind. Various indoor and outdoor areas, including the large communal garden, enable residents to engage in a range of social activities, which helps enhance a sense of community. The complex is also suitable for other target groups, creating a mixed and inclusive living environment. A guest room is also available for visitors.
The lush and landscaped garden forms a central meeting point, with the foliage contributing to biodiversity as well as playing a key role in addressing heat stress and flooding. The garden was also designed to create a habitat for various animal species and includes a large bat cave and nesting sites for various bird species.
A green living environment has been shown to have a positive effect on residents’ health. The garden helps reduce stress, improves air quality and encourages people to meet and relax.
Jaap van der Bijl, Altera CEO: ‘The purchase of Tafelberg has enriched our portfolio with a sustainable and future-proof residential complex. The complex offers a pleasant and green living environment that provides space for a mixed and inclusive group of residents. This enables us to foster vibrant communities while ensuring long-term value creation for our investors.’
Michel van Oostvoorn, Director Investment Hartelt Fund Management: ‘We are delighted that Tafelberg residential complex is in good hands with Altera. The sustainable building has offered high-quality accommodation in a stunning, green environment since its opening in 2021.’
Hoekstra Vastgoedmanagement will manage the property on behalf of Altera.
