Altera publishes 2024 Annual Report on its website
| Real estate investor Altera, on behalf of the Altera Retail Fund, has acquired a supermarket location with two stores and parking facilities in Nijmegen’s Fenikshof shopping area.
In addition to a Jumbo supermarket, the purchase includes a Trekpleister drugstore and a florist, along with approximately 100 parking spaces. The transaction covers a total retail space of 4,174 m² with average energy label A. The properties are located west of Nijmegen’s main shopping area in the Biezen neighbourhood. The Jumbo supermarket fulfils a key role in the community, both for Biezen and the adjacent districts. Jaap van der Bijl, Altera CEO: “The addition of Fenikshof strengthens the Altera Retail Fund portfolio and represents further progress towards a portfolio with a full strategic focus on food & convenience. This strategy is in line with the preferred core investment profile of our fund’s current and future participants: a high and predictable direct return that is sustainable and less exposed to economic fluctuations and e-commerce.” Altera was advised on the commercial aspects of this transaction by McDevitt, while Dentons provided legal expertise. The vendor received commercial advice from SPRMRKT Vastgoed and legal guidance from Hemwood. |
