Reduction of CO₂ emissions and energy savings for Altera Retail Fund in 2024

From 1 August, real estate investor Altera, acting through the Altera Retail Fund, has leased retail space at Riddergang 3-13 in Amersfoort to fashion chain Mango. The store, which is part of the Sint Jorisplein shopping centre, covers an area of approximately 321 m². This transaction means that Riddergang is now fully leased.
Altera CIO Erwin Wessels comments, “We are delighted to welcome Mango to Sint Jorisplein. Mango is a major international player that will boost the diversity and appeal of the retail landscape. We are confident that this addition will further enhance the allure of the shopping centre and meet the needs of its visitors.”
About Sint Jorisplein
The Sint Jorisplein shopping centre is the ideal starting point for a day’s shopping in the historic centre of Amersfoort. In terms of leasing, the shopping centre is well-placed in comparison to the historical shopping streets, offering units spacious enough to accommodate formulas such as H&M, The Sting, C&A and Scapino. Mango’s arrival will further strengthen the fashion sector. The centre’s underground car park, on long-term lease to Q-Park, is a key facility for visitors to the heart of the city.
