Altera sells 27 apartments in Heemskerk to Urban Interest

Real estate investor Altera has sold 27 apartments, along with 27 parking spaces, in Heemskerk to Urban Interest on behalf of the Altera Residential Fund. The apartments are located above the De Citadel shopping centre in the eastern part of Heemskerk. Built in 2006, the apartments have an energy label A and consist of 3- and 4-room units with an average size of 110m².

Erwin Wessels, CIO of Altera, commented: “Altera’s residential portfolio continues to grow sustainably, in line with the needs of our stakeholders. This transaction marks another step in our strategy to rejuvenate the portfolio. The proceeds will be reinvested to bring the residential fund closer to our target portfolio structure. Ongoing developments in Zaandam, Amsterdam, Utrecht and Spijkenisse will further support this growth.”
