Details

Located on the iconic NDSM wharf, Nautisch NDSM offers a unique residential experience, designed by architect Liesbeth van der Pol. It consists of 268 residential units, an office, ground-floor commercial facilities, a courtyard garden and a parking garage. Inspired by the nautical atmosphere, the complex is surrounded by a green courtyard garden and is located near the Amsterdam Marina yacht harbour. With a low EPC of 0.2, 238 solar panels and a CHP system, the project is sustainably designed.

Altera rents out 157 mid-range rental units, 24 deregulated rental units, 951 m² of commercial space and 90 parking spaces. Altera’s rental units align with the City of Amsterdam’s action plan for more mid-range rental homes (“Actieplan Meer Middeldure Huur”), addressing the housing gap for moderate-income households.

This development project includes comprises 78 three-room and 122 two-room mid-range rental flats, ranging from 53 to 84 m². The building also includes 600 m² of commercial space, 87 parking spaces and 699 bicycle parking spaces. With an A+++ energy label, the project contributes to

sustainability through its solar panels, green retention roof, EV charging spots and car-share spaces, water buffering and biodiversity. Construction began in 2022.

With heat pumps, solar panels, and urban agriculture, ‘t Groene Wold is a gas-free, sustainable community in Oosterwold, an area east of Almere. The project consists of 372 ground-level residential units spread over eight residential courtyards, of which Altera has purchased 174. The homes, ranging from 80 to 104 m², have spacious gardens and parking spaces. Bioswales, ponds and greenery further enhance its status as a climate-adaptive and sustainable residential area.

De Vroon, on the edge of the new Vroondaal neighbourhood in the south-west of The Hague, pioneers a fitness and vitality concept for older residents, featuring 36 flats, 235 m² in communal spaces and healthcare and services close by. The concept is an initiative of Centrum Groepswonen, Bergunlimited, Stadkwadraat and Vanschagen Architecten, developed in partnership with Van Wijnen and Altera.

The De Vroon flats vary in size, from 63 to 123 m², and overlook the communal patio garden that covers the 33-space car park. The building is gas-free and has an Energy Performance Coefficient (EPC) of ≤ 0.0, meeting the highest demands of sustainability.
